CEO
Brian Stock is the CEO of STOCK, a family-owned diversified real estate company celebrating over 20 years in Southwest Florida. Under the leadership of K.C. Stock and CEO Brian Stock, STOCK is a recognized leader in the development, construction, ownership, and management of high-quality real estate, with more than 6,000 homes built along the Gulf Coast and beyond. Brian oversees all facets of STOCK’s business, including real estate development, design, construction, financing, marketing, sales and leasing. With 30 years in real estate development, construction and sales & marketing, Brian has been instrumental in the company’s growth with new luxury apartment, condominium and commercial divisions, and expansion into premier markets throughout Florida. A native of Oconto, Wisconsin, Brian earned his B.S. in Business Administration from St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin.
CFO
John Ferry is the Chief Financial Officer for STOCK and has been with the company since 2017. John is responsible for the company’s accounting, finance, tax, human resources, and risk management activities. These responsibilities include internal and external financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, banking relations, cash flow management, new and existing project analysis, and operational support. Prior to joining the company, John held positions as Vice President of Finance and Operations, Orlando Division, for Lennar Corporation and served in several senior-level finance and operational roles with WCI Communities, Inc., including most recently as Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer. He also served as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and is a Certified Public Accountant. John received a B.S. of Accounting from the University of Florida and has lived in Southwest Florida since 1998.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Claudine Leger-Wetzel is the Vice President, Sales & Marketing for STOCK, and has been with the company for over 20 years. Prior to joining STOCK, Claudine worked with Westinghouse Communities, and was also part of the Ritz-Carlton, Naples opening team. Claudine is involved in all aspects of the company, from community master planning to product development, sales and marketing for Stock Development and all its divisions, including Club Operations, Stock Luxury Apartment Living and Stock Residences, and also oversees its Hospitality division. Claudine spearheads the company’s technology and software advances, and also oversees its charitable giving programs. She has been recognized as CBIA’s Builder of the Year and the National Association of Homebuilders’ Marketing Director of the Year. Originally from Montreal Canada, Claudine has called Naples home since 1985.
President of Homebuilding
Matt Sellick is President of STOCK’s Homebuilding, Stock Luxury Homes and Stock Custom Homes. Matt joined the company in 2005 right out of college. Matt has always been drawn to the home building and construction business. Originally from Stuart, FL, Matt has worked in every aspect of the construction industry over his career. Matt earned his degree in Business Management and Administration from Florida State University and immediately joined Stock Development. Matt accepted a position as a superintendent at Stock Development. Since then, Matt has grown from this original role into his current position as the President of Stock’s award-winning building divisions and a respected advocate for the construction industry.
Working under the leadership of Brian Stock, Matt recognized the value of a strong organizational culture and a commitment to excellence. Matt works to continuously elevate the team and the quality of the homebuilding experience they deliver to customers. He is a state certified building contractor.
Matt calls Naples home, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Matt currently serves as President and a board member of the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA).
Vice President of Land Development
Keith Gelder is the President of STOCK Luxury Apartment Living and STOCK Commercial, and has been with the company since 2006. Keith is responsible for leading all day to day operations including site acquisitions, feasibility, underwriting, financing, construction administration, lease-up, and asset disposition. In addition to overseeing the luxury apartment division, Keith also serves as the Vice President of Land responsible for overseeing all land acquisitions and development to provide finished lots to STOCK Development’s production and custom homebuilding teams. His responsibilities include leading all due diligence, entitlement, planning, permitting, project management, and compliance for all of Stock’s land holdings. Prior to joining STOCK Development, Keith worked at Raymond James Tax Credit Funds specializing in the acquisition and syndication of tax credit equity for apartment properties. He earned his B.S. in Finance and an MBA from the University of Florida.
For over 20 years, Stock Development and its associates have demonstrated an enduring commitment to enhance the lives of children and families, donating to local charitable organizations, including The Boys & Girls Club, hurricane relief efforts, Builders Care, Habitat for Humanity, the Lee and Collier County Champions for Learning, PACE Center for Girls, Golisano Children’s Hospital, Florida Gulf Coast University, Immokalee Foundation, Youth Haven, Make-A-Wish Foundation and many more.
Stock teamed up with Making Strides Against Cancer to make a difference in the lives of women in Southwest Florida. It's Take Stock in Hope team raised $100,000 to support American Cancer Society’s breast cancer support services and lifesaving research.
Through a gift to Florida Gulf Coast University (FCGU), under the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering's Construction Management program is now named the STOCK Development Department of Construction Management. Partnering with FGCU enables the college to help the next generation of builders recognize their dreams and build their careers in construction.
