The model also includes a study, a game room, a master bath with an outdoor shower, two guest ensuites, a powder bath, and two two-car garages.
Killgore’s relaxed coastal contemporary design mixes rustic organic elements with clean modern finishes, including various stone materials, marble, glass, and metals. The design style creates engaging settings to compliment the architecture’s large spaces that open to the outdoors and present ideal areas for entertaining. The on-trend color palette blends white, soft taupes, and grey tones with smoky blue accents and pops of saffron gold. The flooring is 18 x 18-inch Corinthian fossil limestone.
The Sophia II’s impressive entry sequence includes a foyer with a barrel vault ceiling with a silver leaf finish. The floor repeats the rectangular motif of the ceiling with a light grey limestone inlay. A niche wall is adorned with a large art piece. An opening off the foyer leads to a formal dining room that features a long niche wall with a built-in that includes an up-base cabinet and flanking base cabinets with a floating quartz countertop. The wall above the cabinetry is finished with a ship-lap detail with mirrored insets. A dining table with a charcoal colored stained wood finish and chunky legs is surrounded by fully upholstered host and hostess chairs skirted in a tan linen and side chairs finished with grey linen and silver nail head details. A multi-tiered capiz shell chandelier is suspended from a step-coffered ceiling.
The study continues Killgore’s emphasis on interesting ceiling details. Here, the ceiling in presented as a vaulted octagon. A built-in with soft white cabinetry and a partner’s desk spans an entire wall and is complimented by built-in display shelves finished in a charcoal grey. Two wingback partner’s chairs are upholstered in a light linen fabric. Furnishings also include a mirrored chest.
A rectangular bar is situated between the dining room and living room and offers a captivating gathering place when entertaining. The face of the bar is finished with small tone-on-tone soft taupe mosaic glass tiles. The raised bar top is a taupy grey quartz that waterfalls to the floor. Unique t-shaped white leather bar stools feature espresso finished legs. The back wall of the bar is a mix of display and function. A blue/grey Azul Aran granite counter surface includes a bar sink. Two under-counter wine chillers and an area with a grey limestone basket weave backsplash for displaying wine bottles are also featured.
The welcoming ambiance of the Sophia II is continued in the living room where a modern linear fireplace is set against a wall is adorned with chiseled stacked glacier marble that extends from floor to ceiling. Flanking the fireplace are two dark charcoal built-ins that include base cabinets and display shelves. The room opens to an intimate covered lanai space. Furnishings include four deep white linen club chairs, a circular ottoman, and side cocktail tables. A two-tier silver leaf chandelier is suspended from a ceiling with an up-lit circular detail.
The engaging entertainment area flows into an area with a dinette, the island kitchen, and a family room. A slightly vaulted ceiling in the dinette is detailed with stained tongue-in-groove set between thick painted beams. The table seats six and features a light weathered grey wood top and an ivory base. The table is surrounded by light grey linen chairs with chrome legs.
The kitchen’s island is finished with a white cabinet base and Azul Aran granite with blue and grey tones. Neutral linen barstools with espresso legs provide seating. The perimeter cabinets feature a greyish brown stained finish and are topped by white quartz countertops. Three x six-inch glass taupe tiles have been used to create the backsplash. A 40-inch metal sphere pendant light with crystal elements is hung over the island and repeated in the family room.
The spectacular family room opens to the outdoor living area on all sides. Stained beams mirror the pitch of the room’s vaulted ceiling that is finished with wide tongue-in-groove. A sectional sofa suits the large dimensions of the space and is joined by two swivel club chairs, a 50-inch teak cocktail table with a glass top, a television credenza in a weathered grey finish, and a console with chrome legs and a weathered grey top.
The outdoor living area’s summer kitchen features a raised island bar with a stacked limestone bar face, Azul Aran counter surfaces, weathered graphite dark charcoal cabinetry with a louvered door, and a multi-colored glass tile grill wall backsplash. A two-story vaulted ceiling is finished with stained cypress tongue-in-groove and stained wood beams. A European stacked ledgestone fireplace is presented in a mix of charcoal grey tones and also features a thick mantle and hearth. An adjoining conversation area includes a sofa, two club chairs, an iron and stone cocktail table, and grey ceramic side tables. The pool deck is finished with 16 x 24-inch vein cut shell stone.
The flooring in the master suite transitions to light reclaimed oak. To compliment the flooring, Killgore has chosen a palette with soft taupy tones. The bedroom’s angled coffered ceiling is finished with wide white tongue-in-groove. An upholstered bed is flanked by fully-mirrored nightstands. A credenza with a dark espresso finish and a polished chrome base serves as the dresser. A pair of chaises, one facing in and one facing out, and metal side tables are positioned in a sitting area with a painted wood beam ceiling detail. The master bath’s 12 x 24-inch white Karya honed marble flooring plays against light grey cabinetry, white quartz countertops and a free-standing tub. The flooring material is carried up 36-inches on the shower walls with polished white marble in a 3 x 6-inch format above. The master bath includes a private courtyard.
