Naples   Stock Signature Homes announced it is poised to begin construction of its 3,629 square feet, two-story furnished Malibu model on Marco Island.  The Malibu will be the award-winning homebuilder’s second residence on Marco Island and will join the 3,903 square feet, two-story Polynesia model that is under construction and slated for completion in late May.

The Malibu model will showcase an interior designed by Vogue Interiors’ award-winning designer, Sheila Corasaniti, IDS, who has infused the home’s open-concept floor plan with an air of casual, easy living that speaks to Marco’s relaxed island lifestyle.  The great room plan includes a spacious island kitchen, formal dining room, study, five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a first floor outdoor living area with a summer kitchen, pool, and spa, a covered outdoor terrace on the second floor that can be accessed by two of the three upstairs bedrooms, and a three car garage.

Inspired by the scenic Marco Island location and the beauty of the nearby tropical Ten Thousand Islands, Corasaniti envisions the Malibu model as a casual, relaxed island lifestyle home filled with multi-textured natural materials set against a sea-inspired watercolor palette of off-white, soft aqua and palm green. The main flooring will be a highly polished 24 by 24-inch off white porcelain and all main area walls will be painted in a calming soft sand dune tone. Window treatments throughout the house will be custom island style panels designed to catch the coastal breezes.

In the expansive welcoming foyer, a huge natural sea shell chandelier will hang in the weathered wood open stairwell. Across from the stairwell, a sculptural live edge console fashioned from an exotic multi-toned wood with swirling grains will sit on the opposite wall. A vibrant original coastal inspired oil painting will hang above the console to provide an introductory pop of color to the rest of the home.

The dramatic two-story great room will open to a covered lanai. The custom designed media wall will feature a floor-to-ceiling four-piece framed mural mounted on a backlit wall of weathered gray wood above the television console. The television console will have a sandy wood finish and will float in front of the softly glowing wall. A large sofa and two club chairs will be upholstered in a heavily textured natural off-white linen. Accent pillows will bring in the lively island color palette with fabrics in a flecked blue and green watercolor print, a saturated tropical floral, and an intense palm green. An off-white leather chair will introduce the chrome accents which will be repeated throughout the home. A stone and metal cocktail table and end tables in a weathered wood finish will echo the soft sand, taupe and foggy gray colors of the Gulf shore. A chunky textured neutral natural sisal area rug will reinforce the beachy feel of the space. Anchoring the tall expanse of the great room will be an impressive cage-like chrome chandelier.

Two large hammered chrome pendants will sit over the expansive kitchen island where weathered wood saddle seat counter stools will pull up for casual entertaining. All perimeter cabinets will be finished in a soft off-white and the island cabinetry will be done in a subtle sand finish. Countertops will be topped in quartz with a Carrara marble design and the horizontal glass brick backsplash will be done in the same soft sandy color of the island cabinets.

In the dining room, two contemporary wing chairs upholstered in hemp and white linen will sit at the head and foot of the weathered oak dining table. Driftwood side chairs will be upholstered with soft green linen seat cushions and over the table will be an amazing chrome beaded chandelier with five hand-crafted chrome jellyfish. The buffet console will feature doors designed and hand-carved to mimic actual seaglass.

The intimate powder bath will display a full wall of horizontal driftwood colored glass tile providing a backdrop for a wall-mounted chrome faucet and a driftwood toned vessel sink. The sink will be set on a chrome cabinet with seaglass doors and will feature a Carrera marble countertop.

With a calming color palette of soothing sand and off-white, the master suite will be a serene private space.  The only vibrant tropical colors in the room will appear in the original framed artwork. The high gloss porcelain tile floor will be topped with a deeply textured sand colored area rug woven of big soft loops that will go under the king poster bed that will have a frame hand-wrapped in natural grasses. Soft gray finished nightstands and a dresser will all sport chrome hardware. A romantic multi-tiered antique silver pin shell chandelier will hang over the bed. Two natural rattan lounge chairs upholstered in soft white fabric will finish the intimate seating area.

In the master bath the high gloss off-white flooring will continue under the free-standing tub. Countertops will be done in off-white quartz with a neutral tone swirl and cabinetry will be in a light off-white finish. A tone-on-tone stone chevron pattern will provide an accent wall of tile in the shower. The master bath chrome hardware will repeat the theme carried throughout the home in chrome lighting fixtures, furniture accents and hardware. The master bath vanity cabinets will be finished in off-white painted wood and flanked by walls papered in a highly-textured seagrass pattern.

The outdoor living area will feature a covered lanai off the great room and another off the kitchen. The outdoor kitchen will have weathered gray faux wood cabinetry and quartz countertops with a matching backsplash of glass and stone elongated hexagons. The shell stone pool deck will have an aqua brick pattern waterline tile. Outdoor seating will sit on an aqua and green geometric patterned sisal area rug and all seating will have off-white canvas slip-covered upholstery with strong pops of color provided by the accent pillows. Serpentine shaped slatted natural teak chaise lounges will flank the pool and slatted natural teak chairs will surround the concrete dining table.

The spacious upstairs lanai will look down on the pool and have bar table seating and sleek teak benches for relaxing.

The furnished Polynesia model will feature a family friendly interior by Soco Interiors’ Daniel Kilgore.  The open concept plan includes a great room, dining area, and island kitchen, a study, four bedrooms, four full baths and two half baths, an upstairs loft, a three-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a summer kitchen, fireplace, pool and spa.  Pricing for the furnished Polynesia model will be determined as construction progresses.
