Stock Development posted its fifth consecutive month of strong sales in May.

According to Claudine Léger-Wetzel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the company signed a remarkable 50 new home contracts at Paseo, Lely Resort and Vivanté.
Stock Development has had exceptionally strong this year with 225 new home sales through April and the "be-back" market, those who have visited the community before and decide to comeback later for a second look, is very strong. This has led to a dramatic reduction in available new home inventory.

"The sales momentum we built in season continued through May," said Léger-Wetzel.

"With the opening of new amenities and new neighborhoods at our communities there is terrific excitement. Lots of potential homebuyers who toured our models early in the year have decided to come back for a second look now that additional amenities are complete."

These purchases mean that many of Paseo floor plan designs are sold out and plans are under way for new model centers at both Paseo and Olé with new construction expected to start this summer.

"We have been pleased to see so many permanent residents and families buying homes at our communities both during and after the traditional close of the winter season," said Léger-Wetzel. "The Village Centers at both Paseo and the Olé neighborhood in Lely Resort are open and receiving even more use from residents than we projected in the first several months. They are proving very popular and helping to generate additional sales. As a result we are one of the few developers planning new construction and adding new neighborhoods."

Lely Resort is a private Naples country club community with prices from the mid-$200s and Paseo is a resort-style community located in South Fort Myers with prices starting from the low-$200s. Stock Development is also marketing Vivanté, a community of waterfront condominiums located at the tip of Punta Gorda Isles adjacent to Charlotte Harbor.
