Construction Advances In Mercado At Paseo7/9/2010
Stock Development has begun construction on additional new homes in the Mercado neighborhood of single-family homes at Paseo, the 2010 Lee Building Industry Association’s Community of the Year.According to Tim Clark, Vice President of Sales for Paseo, ground has been broken on four of the ten homes that are permit ready and will be constructed in the upcoming months. Sixteen of the 29 homes in Mercado are already complete. Most of the homes offer lake views or vistas of the Six Mile Cypress Slough’s nature preserves. The neighborhood is adjacent to Paseo’s Village Center.
There are six single-story, two-story and courtyard designs available in Mercado starting from the $270s. All offer attached two car garages and pool and spa options. Two furnished models, the Tivoli and the San Remo, are open for viewing.
“Single-family homes have sold very well so far in 2010 at Paseo and only a few homes are available in Mercado,” said Clark. “The two and three bedroom single-story designs start at 1,647 square feet under air and are perfect for empty nesters, while the two-story design offers up to four bedrooms, a family room upstairs and nearly 2,400 square feet under air, making them ideal for growing families seeking extra bedrooms and play rooms for the children. They also have the convenience of being located across the street from the Village Center.”
