With the 2001 purchase of 340 acres in the southern half of Lely Resort in Naples, K.C. and Brian Stock formed Stock Development and entered the Southwest Florida real estate market. Rooted in tradition and armed with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Stock Development was bound to be a success.
After revitalizing the southern half of Lely Resort, the company assumed ownership of both Olde Cypress in Naples and Grandezza in Estero and purchased the remaining 1,500 acres in Lely Resort. The company’s expansion into Southwest Florida continued when they introduced two new communities: Paseo in Fort Myers and Vivante at Punta Gorda. Stock Development’s portfolio has grown to include Black Bear Ridge and Secoya Reserve, and in 2012, the company acquired the 234 remaining homesites in Quail West, considered one of the crown jewels of Naples. Olde Cypress is currently undergoing a major transformation, with a beautifully updated Clubhouse, completely renovated P.B. Dye-designed championship golf course, and its last new neighborhood, Lantana, set to debut for the 2013 season.
