Hidden Harbor is one of the last new home communitues south of Tampa Bay with Gulf access and exciting news was announced this summer.
The community recently received approval from South Florida Water Management District that removes all boat size restrictions for vessels moored at Hidden Harbor's private boat slips.
“If you've been searching for a luxury boating community with direct gulf access and exceptional amenities, Hidden Harbor now truly has it all, including the opportunity to moor your boat of any length in one of 52 private docks,” said Stock.“This is a nautical paradise. Residents may boat, kayak and canoe directly from their personal boat dock.”
Homeowers with boat docks have access to the Gulf of Mexico by way of the Ten Mile Canal and Estero Bay. The private harbor is a sport fisherman's dream. It is a haven for manatees and provides access to The Great Calusa Blueway Paddling Trail, a 190-mile marked canoe and kayak trail that meanders through the coastal waters and inland tributaries of Lee County, Florida. Common species in the backwaters of Estero Bay and the surrounding creeks include snook, trout, redfish, tarpon, sheepshead, sharks, snapper, jacks and black drum.
The 4,484 square foot community clubhouse has been completed and is situated on a premium waterfront site at the entrance to the harbor. The fitness center is equipped with new state-of-the art equipment, a comfortably furnished lounge area and a club room that is available for social events.
“This beautiful amenity complex features waterviews on both sides in an amazing tropical setting,” said Brian Stock, CEO of Stock Development. “Outside is a resort style pool with a fire pit, a barbeque area and a beautifully furnished sundeck. There is also a kayak launch and open green space to enjoy the beautiful Southwest Florida weather.”
Hidden Harbor also offers convenient access to Southwest Florida's finest beaches on
Sanibel Island or Fort Myers Beach via road or boat. Nearby are excellent shopping and dining opportunities, as well as several of Southwest Florida’s major entertainment venues.
