On Saturday, Sept. 28th at the Waldorf Astoria, more than 250 guests attended the annual Sand Dollar Awards presented by the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA), Sales and Marketing Council. Once again, Stock Development was the big winner with 23 Sand Dollar Awards, including Community of the Year honors for Lely Resort. It was the sixth consecutive Community of the Year award for Lely. “It is an honor to be singled out for excellence by our peers in the building industry,” said Brian Stock, CEO of Stock Development. “We work hard every day to bring our homebuyers the best residences and lifestyle available in Collier County.” The Sand Dollar Award signifies the highest level of professionalism and excellence in the industry. The awards recognize superiority in building, development, landscape design, interior design, remodeling, commercial design, advertising, marketing and sales. A panel of industry professionals is brought in from outside the area to conduct two days of judging. The Collier Building industry Association (CBIA) is a not-for-profit professional association of dedicated professionals who are inspired to make a difference in our community through advocacy, education, networking and philanthropy on behalf of the construction industry. CBIA is one of 800 state and local associations and operates under the auspices of the Florida Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders.
