Construction of the 3,903 square feet, two-story Polynesia model at 236 Polynesia Court on Marco Island is expected to be completed in early July. Priced at $2,895,000 with furnishings, the Polynesia will feature an interior by Soco Interiors’ Daniel Kilgore. The open-concept plan includes a great room, dining area, and island kitchen, a study, four bedrooms, four full baths and two half baths, an upstairs loft, a three-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a summer kitchen, fireplace, pool and spa.
Kilgore has created a family friendly home with a relaxed transitional design featuring subtle Old Florida references. His beachy color palette will feature sandy neutrals, soft whites, and coral and aqua accents. Light bleached oak flooring will be used throughout to create a coastal ambience. The entry foyer will have a dramatic 16’ 8” ceiling to introduce the spacious scope of the floor plan. Lighted niches on both sides of the entry will showcase paintings introducing Kilgore’s coral accent color.
The great room will feature pocketing sliding doors to the pool area and covered lanai. Three niches on the feature wall will be painted in the soothing aqua accent color. The middle niche will have a television mounted above a white cabinet with silver-ring hardware. On either side of the center niche will be dark stained thick wood shelving. An oversized transitional sofa in a textured tan linen will face the television and two ivory linen club chairs will pair with a light ivory leather ottoman. The sculptural cocktail table will be made from a piece of natural driftwood with an applied silver finish and a round glass top.
The open-concept dining area will feature a wall with applied molding in an interlocking pattern of squares. The rectangular dining table and the frames of the tan textured linen host and hostess chairs will have an off-white finish. Six comfortable side chairs will be slipcovered in a creamy vanilla linen. In the kitchen, the perimeter cabinets will have an off-white painted finish that will play against light taupe quartz countertops and a horizontally banded glass tile backsplash in light clear neutrals and frosty white. The island will be presented in a weathered gray finish with a snow-white quartz countertop.
In the study, custom built-in units will grace one entire wall. The base cabinets will be done in a painted gray finish with natural wood tops and matching wood shelves above. The center section will have floating shelves across the top and a partners’ desk tucked in below. A unique desk will include a stainless steel base and a hand crafted top composed of inlaid wood pieces under a glass top. The gray linen desk chair will be paired with a neutral ottoman.
The master bedroom will feature a color mix of ivory and sand with brush strokes of deep charcoal and bright warm coral. The headboard wall will be detailed with painted vertical molding extending to the ceiling. The bed will have a curved headboard with ivory linen inserts and a distressed charcoal gray wood frame. Silver leaf nightstands will add contrasting shine and texture. The dresser will feature a weathered charcoal gray finish with oversized silver leaf hardware. The seating area will include two large linen club chairs with a silver metal table.
In the master bath, the light wood floors will transition to a silver-toned travertine that will extend onto the shower walls and floor. The vanity cabinetry will be finished in a painted Portobello gray against bright white quartz countertops. A free-standing tub with polished chrome hardware will anchor the room.
Upstairs, the two guest bedrooms will each have their own bath as well as sliding doors opening onto a covered balcony overlooking the lanai and pool. The loft will be the casual entertainment area of the home and feature a textured flaxen gray sectional with a chaise set on a natural fiber sisal rug. A charcoal gray club chair will be accompanied by an oversized upholstered ottoman. A casual weathered gray media cabinet and television will be set in a niche. A small desk with a linen chair will provide a work space for the owner or guests.
The lanai will run the entire width of the home and will include a complete summer kitchen. The cabinetry will be done in a dark charcoal weathered driftwood finish with louvered cabinet doors. Countertops will be in ice blue granite with a glass mosaic backsplash in blue, light gray and charcoal. The outdoor fireplace will be faced with a gray bamboo subtly textured tile. A light driftwood colored metal sofa and two club chairs will have soft gray upholstery and bright accent pillows. A woven espresso dining table will be set with backless woven dining stools.
Stock’s Malibu model on Marco Island is also under construction. Scheduled for completion in November and priced at $2,595,000 with furnishings, the 3,629 square feet, two-story Malibu model at 617 Hernando Drive will present an interior design by Vogue Interiors. The great room floor plan includes a formal dining room, four bedrooms plus a study or fifth bedroom, five-and-a-half baths, an upstairs loft, a generous outdoor living area and a three-car garage. The plan offers an ideal setting for entertaining out of town family members and friends. The spacious great room, huge island kitchen, dining room, and multiple covered lanais offer comfortable gathering places on the first floor. Upstairs, visitors will enjoy the loft as well as covered balconies overlooking the pool off two of the guest bedrooms.
