Base-priced at $899,990, the 3,641 square feet under air Cocoplum floor plan includes 1,004 square feet of covered lanai space. The spacious plan features a great room that opens to the lanai and can include an optional built-in entertainment center, a large gourmet island kitchen, a dining room with ninety-degree pocketing sliders that open to the outdoors, a study, four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and a three-car garage. The master bedroom has a sitting room that opens to a covered owner’s terrace. The furnished Cocoplum is open for viewing and showcases an interior by Charlotte Horvath, Interior Designer at Soco Interiors.
Horvath has created a cool and contemporary livable home by choosing a neutral white background for the wide range of sophisticated accent colors used in the Cocoplum model. The main living areas feature a clean and streamlined soft silver, metal grey, off-white and pale neutral color palette. Each of the secondary bedrooms tells its own color story with individual palette mixes of bright aqua, violet, and sunny yellow fabrics and custom finished furniture.
A double door entry opens to a dramatic collage of six 20-inch by 20-inch silver framed mirrors on one wall of the foyer. Reflected in the mirrors, an oversized contemporary art piece depicting a shell is mounted above a chunky warm brown floating shelf. A brilliant modern nine-light chandelier in an aged silver finish features a series of glittering chains that descend into the entry space. Floors throughout the main living areas are done in a 12-inch by 24-inch almond porcelain tile with subtle accents of warm brown and soft gray.
In the study, the flooring material changes to Medieval Oak rustic wood in warm brown and soft grey tones. Two clean-lined neutral étagères flank the large window behind the modern desk that has a warm brown geometric base and a cream finished top. Two fawn upholstered club chairs and a high-back host desk chair feature the room’s white, dark brown, and alabaster color palette with pops of butter yellow. A striking clear glass bubble chandelier adds a contemporary element.
A custom built-in entertainment and media wall in the great room features a warm brown winter finish chunky floating shelf below the wall-mounted television. Custom floating shelving is installed above cabinets done in an alabaster finish. The 14-foot ceiling detail includes painted wood beams and a painted tongue-in-groove pattern laid in alternating directions. Silver-to-chocolate brown ombre sheer draperies dress the sliding doors and complement a soft off-white sofa and two dramatic sophisticated silver wood-framed chairs. An array of velvet and embroidered fabric accent pillows includes brown metallic, gray fur, and silver snakeskin. A soft grey wood cocktail table with acrylic legs sits on a plush dove grey area rug. Metal and glass ribbed table lamps bring the diverse textural elements together. A triple-tier metal chandelier offers light from above. Four pocketing sliders open from the great room to the covered lanai.
In the kitchen, the finishes on the large island include warm brown cabinetry and white quartz countertops. All perimeter cabinetry is done in alabaster and the dark mushroom quartz countertops have subtle accents of cream and taupe. The bright backsplash has iridescent tiles of icy whites, quiet neutrals, and dove greys set in a deeply dimensional diamond mosaic.
The dining room ceiling features a painted beam and tongue-in-groove detail to match the great room. A custom wine wall fills a deep niche and includes a serving counter with base cabinets and a modern horizontal wine display housed behind glass doors. The rectangular dining table has a brown wood base and a gunmetal finish and hosts six skirted chairs. Above is a modern chandelier.
The outdoor living area includes an outdoor kitchen with a grill wall and a counter height floating island. The square contemporary outdoor dining table has stainless steel legs and a mocha finish and easily seats eight. The expansive and comfortable outdoor seating area has two sofas and two lounge chairs with stainless steel bases grouped around a concrete cocktail table. Accent pillows in greys, bright yellows, browns, whites and blues add color and comfort. Outside the master bedroom, two matching lounge chairs offer an intimate private retreat.
A sophisticated color palette enlivens the neutrally carpeted master suite. A white upholstered headboard backs an array of print accent pillows in smoky charcoal, black and gold. The drapery panels are done in white silk with an embroidered pattern of black and brown. Matching mirrored nightstands are framed in a gold luxe finish. The luxe finished dresser has scalloped wood details on the sides. Two club chairs are upholstered in a soft neutral fabric and have accent pillows in the same fabrics used on the king bed.
In the master bath, a warm brown iridescent tile with hints of ink black and smoke gray creates a subtle shower wall and floor detail. The vanity cabinetry is done in a winter white finish and the countertops are snowy quartz. The free-standing tub sits below three high windows.
