Earlier this month, STOCK Development was honored with the “Outstanding Corporate Philanthropy Award” from the Collier Community Foundation. This award was presented by the Board Emeriti of the Community Foundation of Collier County and is presented to corporations who go above and beyond to provide care and support for our community.
“At STOCK, giving back is at the heart of everything we do and we are proud to stand alongside other dedicated organizations working to uplift and support our neighbors in Collier County,"
stated Claudine Leger-Wetzel, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Stock Development.
STOCK Development’s involvement in the community goes beyond the building of its over 6,000 homes in more than 20 communities as the award-winning company is a strong supporter in many philanthropic sectors of the community.
For over two decades, Stock Development and its partners have shown a steadfast commitment to supporting children and families, contributing to local charities such as The Boys & Girls Club, hurricane relief initiatives, Builders Care, Habitat for Humanity, Champions for Learning in Lee and Collier Counties, PACE Center for Girls, Golisano Children’s Hospital, Florida Gulf Coast University, Immokalee Foundation, Youth Haven, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and many others.
Stock joined forces with Making Strides Against Cancer to positively impact women in Southwest Florida. Their "Take Stock in Hope" team raised $100,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer support services and fund vital research.
Crazy Pantz III, sponsored by Stock Development, generated $160,000 for Pace Center for Girls—Collier at Immokalee. This organization offers education, counseling, training and advocacy for young women. The popular event showcases prominent men strutting the runway in wild pants, which are later auctioned to the highest bidders.
Additionally, Stock's gift to Florida Gulf Coast University has led to the naming of the STOCK Development Department of Construction Management under the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering. This partnership with FGCU aims to empower the next generation of builders to realize their dreams and forge successful careers in construction.
