STOCK Residences, the high-end condominium division of Naples-based STOCK Development and developer of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Naples, is introducing a thoughtfully curated, museum-quality art program that will define the visual and experiential identity of the Gulf-front enclave as it approaches completion.
Developed in collaboration with international art consultants GZ Art Co., and guided by the creative direction of Cristian Pinedo, interior designer of The Residences and founder of SUSURRUS International, the collection has been conceived as an integral extension of the architecture and interiors – rather than a standalone layer – bringing depth, texture, and narrative to the residential experience.
Spanning the property’s shared spaces, the collection will feature a layered mix of disciplines, from sculpture and painting to dimensional wall works, textiles, photography, and site-specific installations. The majority of the pieces in the art program have been commissioned specifically for the property, reflecting both the physical context of Naples and the design ethos established throughout the property.
“The most important aspect of this collection is that it is primarily site-specific,” said Grace Zeppilli, Founder of GZ Art Co. “These are not works that could be placed anywhere else – they are being created in direct response to the architecture, the materials, and the story of the property. Each piece is designed to belong exactly where it is, which gives the collection a level of authenticity and permanence that is incredibly rare in residential environments.”
Founded in 2015, GZ Art Co. has cemented itself as a leading art consultancy, known for crafting bespoke art programs for hospitality, residential, and commercial settings worldwide.
Rooted in a design narrative that draws from the romance and materiality of a Mediterranean villa, the art program at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Naples emphasizes organic forms, layered textures, and a sense of timeless elegance. Throughout the lobby, lounges, and amenity spaces, installations are designed to echo natural elements – sand, water, and coastal topography – interpreted through a refined, contemporary lens.
A focal point of the arrival experience, the reception area will feature a highly sculptural, large-scale installation by SpacesNWalls, inspired by the concept of a “beachcomber,” incorporating a mix of finishes and artisanal techniques to create depth, texture, luminosity, and movement. Elsewhere, unique moments unfold across the Vanderbilt Lounge and other gathering spaces, where historical references, regional narratives, and handcrafted materials converge.
“A significant portion of the collection are bespoke, custom-commissioned works, allowing us to achieve a level of detail and cohesion that simply isn’t possible otherwise,” said Amy Pouliot, Principal and Creative Director of GZ Art Co. “We’ve worked with an extraordinary network of artists and fabricators, many of whom specialize in luxury hospitality, to develop pieces that are not only visually compelling, but deeply connected to the setting. There’s a balance of national and regional talent, and a real emphasis on craftsmanship and storytelling.”
Pinedo, whose top projects include the Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto and The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, played a central role in shaping the conceptual framework for the collection, ensuring that each piece reinforces the spatial experience and overarching design vision.
“From the outset, the intention was for the art to feel inseparable from the architecture –experienced rather than simply observed,” said Pinedo. “We focused on tactile works that shift with light and movement, creating a more immersive and emotional connection. In a residential setting, that dialogue becomes more intimate and enduring, allowing each piece to take on meaning over time. As the collection is installed, it will be incredibly rewarding to see how it brings a new depth to the spaces and ultimately shapes the way residents will experience them day to day.”
Importantly, the art program reflects the same level of quality and intentionality associated with The Ritz-Carlton brand, while also offering a distinctly residential sensibility tailored to its future homeowners. Unlike a traditional gallery or hotel setting, the collection is designed to be experienced in a more intimate, everyday context – enhancing moments of arrival, gathering, and retreat.
“The investment in this art program speaks to the level of care and commitment behind every aspect of the project,” said Claudine Léger-Wetzel, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for STOCK Development. “Our buyers are incredibly discerning, and many are collectors themselves. They recognize when something has been executed at the highest level. This collection adds a layer of richness and individuality that truly sets The Residences apart.”
Set between the Gulf of Mexico and Vanderbilt Lagoon, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Naples comprises 128 estate-like homes across five boutique buildings, including Tower, Bay, and Park Residences. As construction nears completion and initial closings approach this summer, the installation of the art collection will mark a defining final layer – bringing together architecture, interiors, and artistry into a cohesive and immersive living environment.
The Residences’ sales gallery is located at 2355 Vanderbilt Beach Rd., Suite 106. For additional information, call 239.249.6260 or visit RCRNaples.com.
